Telemet & Kässbohrer: 25 years of strong partnership

25 years ago, KÄSSBOHRER and Telemet began their long journey together in Chile. A path that leads from high mountains of the Andes to the endless beaches and has made the two companies a successful team in all product divisions of KÄSSBOHRER Geländefahrzeug AG in South America.

Efficiency through simplicity – this has been Telemet‘s motto since its foundation. And this principle guides every decision and the entire operation of the Chilean trading company.

“Efficiency is achieved by offering the best products and services with our comprehensive, unique know-how. Simplicity is one of our most outstanding characteristics – it makes us strive for a cleaner, simpler and more efficient operation,” explainsTief Pujol, Managing Director of Telemet Group.

25 years of partnership at eye level

“We are very pleased to be able to look back on a quarter of a century of successful partnership with Telemet in Chile,” says Harald Häge, since 2002 as Sales Manager responsible for South America, among others, at the recent meeting in Laupheim.

“25 years of partnership also means 25 years of mutual trust, respect and close cooperation. Telemet‘s continuous technical feedback and support have always been of great importance in the ongoing development of the PistenBully and BeachTech to meet local requirements. Our vehicles are now in use on the beaches, on the slopes and in the mines throughout Chile.”

Reliability is the be-all and end-all

Such a success story is not possible without a reliable team. At Telemet Sudamérica, Cristian Elgueta, General Manager/Partner, together with highly skilled managers such as Christian Rahausen, Mario Garces and Andrea Maturana, looks after the various business areas.

In addition to PistenBully and BeachTech, the portfolio now also includesPowerBully, as well as trading in various other special vehicles for the ski, mining and environmental sector as well as providing meteorological solutions.

With a customer base spread along more than 4,000 kms., Telemet’ technical assistance has to be efficient and maximized; the delivery of spare parts is well combined with the assistance of KÄSSBOHRER, to timely cover such a large territory.
