Perfectly to very low temperatures
The brand COVIMA FUNIBELT POWER started its journey in 2015 when the company COVIMA began to develop a series of belts transmission, especially for ski resorts and for all types of cable transport systems – together with the well-known brand GATES.
Capable of withstanding extreme temperature ranges and a great capacity of resistance to the weather mark the product. “Covima Funibelt power ist new belt brand for ski resorts”, CEO Ramon Cos emphasises.
This type of belt is made from an epdm rubber compound that adapts perfectly to very low temperatures (-50ºc/+130ºc) while ensuring the high grip on pulleys required by detachable chairlifts, funitels and gondolas.
