Palisades visitors now have easy access to 6,000 acres of some of North America‘s most iconic ski and snowboard terrain. The cable car transports guests between The Village at Palisades Tahoe and the Alpine Lodge, allowing expert skiers and riders to alight at the middle station.

The ride from the Village to the Alpine Lodge takes about 16 minutes, which enables guests to experience both mountains without the use of additional vehicles on the road.

The 96 gondolas, each offering room for up to eight people, pass over a 2.4-mile (3.9-km) route from base to base. While comfort is being added to a ski day in Tahoe, the Base to Base Gondola opens up no additional ski terrain.
