These are now used in over 60 countries worldwide. With the SS1 self-driven cable carriages, IMMOOS has succeeded in revolutionising cable car evacuation in the long term.

With the self-driven cable carriages rope access devices, people can move along the stranded ropes of cable cars and industrial facilities – without a restraining rope, second person or additional safety device. Over 3,000 cable carriages devices are in use worldwide.

More demand on french market

IMMOOS is also an established specialist partner for cable car operators and authorities regarding questions for the evacuation of cable cars.  The demand on the French market is constantly increasing.

In order to meet this demand and further strengthen the customer support, which is a core concern of IMMOOS, the new branch office in Veyrins Thuelln in France has celebrated its grande opening in March 2024. An experienced team of technical advisors is looking forward to meet its clients needs.

Two faces for France

Guy Morier, technical advisor for Frenchspeaking Switzerland and France, will remain an important part of the IMMOOS team and will concentrate on the existing client base.

Sébastien Louzy has been recruited as an additional contact person for France. With over seven years experience as an intervention technician in after sales for a French manufacturer of cable car cabins, he is ideally qualified.

Sébastian Louzy has travelled throughout France and the world to make diagnoses, carry out repairs and train operators‘ teams in maintenance. The new challenge as customer advisor France allows him to stay in his beloved environment “the mountains“. He himself is a passionate mountaineer, skier and climber.
