New bike area opened at Snow-Space Salzburg
In their own test center, the woom children’s bicycles are available for rent. The 5,900 square meter area is located at the middle station of the Flying Mozart in Wagrain and can be easily accessed by cable car.
“The Kids-Bikepark is the result of a successful business cooperation with the children’s bike manufacturer woom. The new offering completes the family attractions in our region and emphasizes our expertise in international summer tourism,” says Wolfgang Hettegger, CEO of Snow Space Salzburg Bergbahnen.
“The Kids-Bikepark in Wagrain and woom share the same goal: to inspire children to cycle, enjoy outdoor activities in nature, and adopt a healthy, active lifestyle,” adds woom CEO Paul Fattinger. “That’s why we support this wonderful project as much as we can.”
The entire bike area has been designed with children in mind. During the planning of the practice area, the focus was on ensuring that basic bike park and downhill skills could be learned safely.
The sizes and distances of the park elements are perfectly tailored to the needs of children and the technology of woom bicycles. This makes it easy for children to conquer the drops, trails, and other skill elements with the mountain bike.
woom children’s bikes of all sizes are available for rent in the park’s own test center, and this service is included in the ticket. In the beginner’s area, kids can return to the starting point using the magic carpet, and the paths to the infrastructure facilities are kept as short as possible.
The entire area is designed in a way that parents and supervisors can keep a close eye on their children. The new Kids-Bikepark can also be used with children’s own bicycles.
Fun even for the little ones.
Areas for balance bikes were also designed in the new arena.
Wide range of family offers in Snow Space Salzburg for international competitiveness
There are special offers for children on each of the adventure mountains in Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann/Alpendorf. In addition to the KUHbidu adventure world on Wagrainis Grafenberg, the Geisterberg in Alpendorf with Drachis via ferrata as well as Flori’s adventure trail on the Grießenkar, the new woom bike area in Wagrain now also attracts youngsters who love biking.
“The woom bike area is the logical extension of the mountain sports offer for children and families in Snow Space Salzburg,” explains Hettegger.
The mountain railways thus want to underpin their competitiveness and positioning as a year-round holiday destination for families, the CEO continues.
