Unique Swiss Zipline Park opens in Appenzellerland
In August 2020, the pole-mounted Zipline Park at Kronberg in Switzerland welcomed its first adventurous guests.
On seven sections, visitors experience airy kicks at heights between four and eleven metres. With 25 ziplines between 25 and 107 metres long, pure adrenaline is the programme!
There are even suitable routes for the smallest guests from 110 cm tall, so fun is guaranteed for the whole family. Two introductory courses and a “climbing crown” complete the park.
A world of adventure for the whole family
The Zipline Park with 55 climbing elements is part of an extensive family adventure world with other attractions such as sandboxes, climbing elements, bobsleigh track, trampolines and water games.
All age groups get their money’s worth here; for smaller children, for example, there is the “Märliwelt”, built by pronatour GmbH below the zipline course, where nature and the elements can be experienced.

Innovative and future-oriented overall concept
The reason for the new construction was the destruction of the previous cable park of the aerial cableway Jakobsbad-Kronberg AG by storm Vaia in 2018. With a completely new concept, the innovative destination has now succeeded in taking a step into the future.
The replanning and reorientation took place in close dialogue with the aerial cableway Jakobsbad-Kronberg AG.
As the main attraction of the adventure world located in the valley, faszinatour GmbH designed and built a leisure construction that was highly innovative due to the unusual combination of elements, consisting of a zipline park, climbing elements and a climbing crown that was specially designed for the Kronberg.

The pioneer of ropes course construction not only scored with high-quality and timely implementation of the construction measures, but also proved its expertise in going through the demanding approval process.

High-quality training for maximum safety
Directly after the completion of the zipline and climbing elements, the supervision staff was trained by faszinatour according to the latest standards and prepared for all eventualities. Top trained staff and the double safety system, which makes it impossible for park visitors to unintentionally unclip, ensure the highest possible safety and fun.

Despite the lockdown, the aerial cableway Jakobsbad-Kronberg AG has consistently followed its path and currently sees itself as a winner in a world with changed holiday and travel behaviour:
Especially in Corona times, according to surveys, around 70% of all families from the DACH region want a holiday in the mountains or at a lake. With this in mind, cable car operators and tourism managers need to think ahead and develop distinctive concepts that perfectly complement their destination.
