But they didn’t let a minor setback stop them – on the contrary, they used the situation to reinvent themselves. Thus, the 1st German Cable Car Day #urban became Cable Car World. The focus is on urban transport and the so-called plus-one level.

The two-day trade fair with integrated trade congress is planned for 08 and 09 February 2022. The venue is Messe Essen in the centre of the Metropole Ruhr, Germany’s largest urban conurbation.

This trade fair will bring together stakeholders from the fields of science, business, planning, urban society, administration and politics. Together, they will discuss opportunities and implementation approaches for urban ropeways. The focus of the event is on the transfer of information and the exchange of ideas between the various participants.
