New study by BPD on urban cable cars

The Indian cable car plans

The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, recently announced his intention to develop more than 250 projects with a ropeway length of over 1,200 km within five years.
Construction work has begun on the first cable car in Paris
The excavators are rolling in Paris! Construction of the first urban cable car in Paris has begun. The installation will be built by Doppelmayr and later operated by Transdev. The earthworks are currently underway.
New bike area opened at Snow-Space Salzburg
Since Friday, 28 July 2023, the Snow Space Salzburg mountain railways have been offering a new attraction for children and young people: The woom bike area in Wagrain. The new Kids Bike Park was designed in cooperation with the bike manufacturer woom and is specially designed for children and young people aged 2 to 14.

On 31 July, Norbert Karlsböck terminated his mandate as sole board member of Gletscherbahnen Kaprun AG at his own request after the expiry of his term of office in order to retire at the end of September. Thomas Maierhofer will take over the position as CEO on 1 August.
Marijana Jakic new CEO of St. Moritz Tourism AG
The St. Moritz native and member of the management of Engadin Tourism prevailed in an open application process out of around 80 applications. Marijana Jakic will officially take up her post on 1 September 2023.
